How do Atlassian Solution Grants work?

  • Apply — When you're ready to start your project, complete this short application form (~15 mins).
  • Review — Our Atlassian for Nonprofits team will review your application and meet with you virtually to better understand your needs, scope and timing. We aim to respond within 5–7 business days.
  • Get matched with a partner or bring your own — If your project is a good fit, we'll introduce you to 2-3 of our participating solution partners to scope out a detailed project proposal together. Alternatively, you can apply with a proposal from a partner you are already engaged with.
  • Approval of your grant — Once your preferred proposal is finalized, we will advise you of the approved grant amount and contributions from the solution partners (typically within a week). If your application is denied, we will advise you of other ways to seek support.
  • Agreements and payment - You will sign a services agreement with the solution partner and we will pay grant funds directly to the solution partner upon delivery. Where projects exceed the grant amount and donated solution partner time, you will be invoiced for the remaining amount by the solution partner.
  • Stay connected — We'll check in at the midpoint and end of your project with a short meeting and survey to learn how things went. We will also follow up post-implementation to understand longer-term impact.
  • Share your story— We may invite you to participate in case studies, demos, or events to share your learnings with other nonprofits. This is always optional.
  • Questions? — Reach out anytime at social-impact-teams@atlassian.com.
