The joy of getting s#!t done

We believe that joy unlocks productivity; and that's why we're on a mission to bring true developer joy back to the craft of engineering.

Harnessing the power of AI

It’s an exciting time to be an engineer at Atlassian as we reinvent how teams work in the AI era. Our core AI solution, Rovo, connects, contextualizes, and coordinates work across Jira, Confluence, Loom, and our cloud platform so AI becomes a true teammate, not just a tool. Built on our Teamwork Graph, and partnerships with leaders like Google and OpenAI, Rovo understands the relationships between people, work and knowledge to drive better collaboration and smarter decisions. As an Atlassian engineer, you’ll help build these capabilities, shaping how humans and AI solve real problems for 300,000+ customers.

The Atlassian story

Armed with a credit card and a dream, our founders started Atlassian after college. In 2002, Mike and Scott launched our flagship product, Jira, followed by the release of collaboration platform Confluence. Being only 20 years young, we maintain the ability to create new products, constantly innovate and ship fast. Everything we build is in service of our customers, whether it’s a new feature or product.
