Dashboards can be private or shared with other users on your instance. They can also contain information from a single or multiple projects, enabling you to access pertinent information from across your whole instance.

What is Jira space insights?

Space insights gives each Jira space a centralized, AI-powered dashboard so your team can monitor progress, spot issues, and take action without leaving the space.

• Build a dashboard for your team's work: As a space admin, you can configure a space insights dashboard tailored to what your team needs to track. Select the spaces and filters most relevant to your work, then add charts and reports covering delivery, quality, workload, or any combination that fits. Pin important charts to the top, group related metrics together, and arrange components to tell a clear story about your team's progress.

• Create charts using natural language: Rovo is built into space insights, so you can describe what chart you want to see in plain language. From there, you can refine, rearrange, or remove it like any other dashboard component.

• Get AI-generated insights on every chart: Each chart in space insights nncludes an AI-powered summary that highlights what's changing, stalled work items, or risks to your targets. These plain-language callouts appear alongside the chart, so your team can quickly understand trends and decide on next steps without interpreting the data manually.

What is a system dashboard?

When users log in to Jira Cloud applications for the first time, they will see the default dashboard. Jira administrators can configure the gadgets and the layout of the default dashboard.

Use this to surface the information that matters most across your organization—such as activity streams, assigned issues, or key project summaries.

This gives users a useful starting point from the moment they sign in. Please note that the default dashboard cannot be deleted.
